Our programs

Help with treatment, diagnosis and rehabilitation — and someone at your side.

Israel's health system is good, but the way through it is long and confusing — especially with a rare disease, a child, or a family that has just arrived in the country. Our programme exists so that no family loses precious time, and no one gives up on treatment just because there is no one to help.

Why a programme like this is needed

Behind every diagnosis is a family that suddenly has to learn a new language: medical terms, rights, referrals, committees. Those without the strength, the time or good Hebrew are left behind. And meanwhile, the child waits.

When you wait, time works against the child.

What the programme includes

  • Help with treatment, diagnosis and rehabilitation.
  • Accompanying requests to hospitals and clinics.
  • Financial support for families who can no longer carry the costs of treatment alone.
  • Bringing in specialists: doctors, speech therapists, physiotherapists and more.

Who it's for

Children and adults with serious or rare illnesses, families going through rehabilitation after surgery or injury, and anyone who needs someone to help them understand the way — and to stay beside them until it ends.

Who we work with

Today we are raising funds for Sasha and Anfisa, who are being treated at Hadassah Ein Kerem. The children's rehabilitation ward at Levinstein has asked us to buy medical rehabilitation equipment — and we are raising funds for it now too.

A donation to the medical programme becomes a test done on time, a treatment paid for, a physiotherapist who comes. Every donation brings someone closer to the day they go home healthy.

Surgery for little Sasha

Sasha, 5, was diagnosed with desmosis coli — an extremely rare disease of the colon. She has fought for 5 years; now it's our turn to help her reach surgery at Hadassah Ein Kerem.
