Knowledge opens doors — to work, to friends, to self-confidence. For teenagers from struggling families, and for adults starting a new life in Israel, the chance to learn is sometimes the difference between getting by and getting ahead.
When there's no choice
A teenager growing up in a family where every shekel counts can't always afford a club, a course or a computer at home. A new immigrant who doesn't speak Hebrew is left out of the conversation — at work, at the children's school, at government offices. That gap does not close by itself.
Knowledge is a gift that keeps giving for years.
What the programme includes
- Computer classes for teenagers.
- Sports clubs.
- Hebrew courses and enrichment programmes.
- Lectures and enrichment meetings.
Why it matters
A computer class gives a teenager a future profession; a sports club gives structure, friends and confidence; a Hebrew course opens the door to work and community for a new immigrant. Each one is an investment that keeps paying back for years — to the person, to their family and to society as a whole.
Who teaches
The clubs, lectures and meetings are led by professionals and volunteers who chose to share what they know. Some of them were once on the other side — and know how much a single lesson can change.
You can donate to the programme, give a lecture or run a club as a volunteer, or donate equipment — computers, sports gear and study materials. Each of them can become the start of a new path.
