Community is what turns help into a home. Behind LATET BESIMHA stand volunteers, professionals and caring people — and over the past year 35 new volunteers joined us. Together we don't only give; we create a place where no one is alone.
Loneliness is a quiet hardship
You can live in a building full of people and still not talk to anyone for weeks. New immigrants, families who moved to a new town, people whose lives were suddenly turned upside down — all of them need a place where someone is waiting for them.
Sometimes the greatest help is simply not being alone.

What the programme includes
- Help dealing with bureaucracy.
- Interest clubs and shared dinners.
- Meetings and themed evenings.
What it looks like
A shared evening, a regular club, a hand that helps fill in a form or call a government office — small things that build a sense of belonging. Our community is open to everyone who wants to give and everyone who needs company.
Our volunteers
Most of the charity's work is done by volunteers. They pack parcels for soldiers, bring gifts to hospital wards, stand by families and organise evenings. 35 of them joined just this past year — and each brought a little more light with them.
You can volunteer, run a club, host an evening or bring friends. Leave your details on the volunteering page — and we'll get back to you. If you believe kindness can change the world, you're already part of our team.
